God will make a way

God will make a way - provide for our needs @godlywoman911How many of you have read Exodus?

It is the current book I am reading and I have to say that as I close out the book I found it a bit challenging. Total honesty – I found many chapters drawing a yawn out of me so I kept on praying prior to each chapter asking God to really show me what he wanted me to learn from all of this. And tonight I got my answer.

In Exodus chapters 25-28, God provides very detailed instructions to Moses on how several things should be built, including the Tent of Meeting, Ark of the Covenant and other important ceremonial items. He instructed them on the length, width, types of materials and even the type of persons that should make certain things.

As I was reading these chapters and amazed at all of the details and specifications I thought… “Wow, if only I got clear instructions like that” as well as “That is quite a lot of detail… Overwhelmingly so”.

And I love how my God works.

He really doesn’t leave me hanging.

First he reminded me that we have the bible as our every day guide and it provides great instructions on how to live our life and please God.

My next eye opener was when I started reading Exodus chapter 31 and it stated:

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—
Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tent—” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭31:1-3, 6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You see, God was telling me that not only does HE provide clear instructions, but HE also provides whatever we need to heed the instructions given.

And isn’t this something we forget? My mind immediately started stressing about the infinite details and how this was all going to get done as I was reading the earlier chapters of Exodus.

“But God… God tells us all the time that HE is not only a God that focuses on the tiny details but HE is also our provider who will supply all that we need.”

Food for thought: Are you struggling? Stop and think why. If you haven’t invited God to help you then that might be the answer. If you did ask God but still struggling then is it because you haven’t let go and let God handle it all for you?

Prayer: Awesome and Mighty Ruler. Creator of all things. Thank you! Thank you for providing us with our own special guide book for life called the bible. May we continually seek your will and have the faith to believe that you will always hear and answer our call. Abba Father, may those that are reading this prayer be blessed like Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. Father may you fill them with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.  In Jesus name, Amen

God’s grace, mercy and peace to you.

I became a Christian at a young age and baptized at the age of 13. My journey has been bittersweet. A majority of my life I have been a Christian. But not a Godly Woman. After many failures, tears and tribulation I realized that something in my Christian life had to change. No longer can I profess that I am a Christian but don’t show daily that Christ lives in me! No longer can I claim that I am HIS child when my thoughts, actions and deeds were not overflowing with HIS love. No longer could I live the way I was living and not seek him daily in prayer, scripture and worship. As the Lord blessed me with that knowledge I felt him also calling me to write my journey and share my thoughts, learning and mistakes with others. Hence the reason for 911. Not only was it a crises in my life to become a Godly Woman but as I delved into scripture to understand how to be Godly, I realized that we are living in crazy world where the desire to be Godly was no longer important. Many boast that they are a Christian and weekly attend Church, but lack the Godly qualities that Christ seeks in ALL of his followers. My deepest desire is to serve Christ faithfully, obey HIM joyfully, trust HIM always, seek HIM eternally and become his close friend so that I can share in his truth and knowledge. I pray that this blog blesses you and provide you with the strength, courage and wisdom to be a Godly Man or Woman.
