There is a difference between the knowing OF God and KNOWING God! Don’t rely on others to build a relationship with Christ. Do you know him for yourself?
Your renewal should be in solitude and quiet. In Jesus’ ministry he showed us the importance of solitude for renewal. Jesus time of solitude was spending time with God. “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:16
God doesn’t label us. He infuses his wisdom and allows us to carry out his will. Don’t let your past or previous choices stop you from doing God’s will.
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’” (Matt 6:13) Does God actually lead us into temptation?
Who are you blaming for your troubles? Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him… Are you seeking Christ first or laying blame?
As Christians we can be so busy doing God’s work and forgetting the vital importance of us spending quiet times with him. This story highlights the better choice.
