How to pray powerfully. The statement on the promotional flyer made me stop to read more. I wanted to understand how to do this. You may have read my earlier blog post where I admitted my fear of public praying and the steps I took to help me improve in that area. But any topic on prayer always has me eager to learn more.
Prayer is my direct link to God, so learning from others and understanding their experiences is something I do quite enjoy. As I glanced over the flyer I got even more excited. Two of my favourite movie producers had created a book that spoke about how to pray strategically. Creators of the movie ‘War Room“, the Kendrick Brothers (Stephen and Alex) went on to write the book, ‘The Battle Plan for Prayer: From Basic Training to Targeted Strategies’.
Answered prayer
Not only did this book revolutionize the way I thought about prayer, but it changed my life. Who knew that there were different types of prayers? I surely didn’t. Since the reading of the book years ago I have enjoyed sharing all that I have learned in a prayer bible study series. I am continually amazed at the large number of prayers that have been answered in the groups and have been blessed to see each member growing in their relationship with Christ.
