Recently, I was asked if I had a godly morning affirmation meditation. At the time I didn’t but the more I reflected on it, the more I gravitated to the idea. After all, every morning between my prayer and me cheering myself on before I went off to work, I realized that I did have somewhat of an affirmation. Just not formal.

For me, my morning ritual has to start with prayer. Then worship and just me talking to God. As soon as I step in the shower I then start listening to Godly podcasts. During my self-care and getting ready for work, I marvel at God’s beautiful creation when I look in the mirror. I then start giving HIM thanks.

My life was not like this before. In school, I was called the ugly duckling. But I was ok with that because it allowed me to focus on what was important, my grades. Now over 40, those words would still resonate in my head, but adopting positive affirmation meditations, praying to God, and ensuring that I captured every thought and answered it with truth from the Bible.

So, for those of you that may just need something positive to start your day after your morning prayer and while you are getting ready and looking in the mirror, here is an affirmation that I would love to share with you:

I am Called. I am loved. I am Kept

I am the daughter of the Most High God, created in HIS image

I was created to praise, worship, adore, and revere HIM

The LORD will fulfill HIS purpose for me

HIS good and perfect will that was prepared in advance for me to do

God’s strength runs through my veins

HE provides and protects me

Nothing/ no one can snatch me from HIS hands

I take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ

I am beautiful. I am Youthful. I am timeless at every age

I bring enormous value

I am a lighthouse shining brightly that will attract the right ship to anchor

I attract only positivity and joy into my life

I am so richly blessed and thankful

Rise, Lord, your child is up and ready

Today is going to be a beautiful day.
