Has Jesus prayed for you?

The Bible is such an amazing guide for life that not only provides instructions but also healing and comfort.

Today I want to ask you, has Jesus prayed for you?

Sounds strange doesn’t it? After all, we pray to HIM.

But in John 17:20-26, we note that Jesus says a very powerful prayer for all believers:

““My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.””

So, did Jesus pray for you? If you are a believer and follower of Christ then your answer would be YES!

We serve an amazing and awesome God who hundreds of years ago said a prayer for you and I as believers of Christ.

Jesus prayed for us to be unified as believers. That we would shine his light and glory on the world so that they would also believe. That we are loved. That Jesus is with us always and we will be with HIM in eternity. That we would see Christ glory.

As I read that prayer I not only felt the compassion of Christ but HIS love for us.

How can I not serve, obey, trust, depend, surrender and love HIM for all HE has done for a wretched sinner like me.

I want to daily live that prayer that Jesus prayed for you and I. How about you?

Thought: Are you a believer? If not, seek Christ and accept HIM as your Lord and Savior today (Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬). If you are a believer, do your words, actions and heart truthfully display to the world that you are a believer of Christ? Seek Christ.

Prayer: Abba Father, forgive us. The suffering and sacrifice that Christ made on the cross we can never repay. May we as believers stamp this prayer on our hearts and live our lives glorifying and honoring your Holy name in unity. In Jesus name. Amen

God’s grace, mercy and peace to you.

I became a Christian at a young age and baptized at the age of 13. My journey has been bittersweet. A majority of my life I have been a Christian. But not a Godly Woman. After many failures, tears and tribulation I realized that something in my Christian life had to change. No longer can I profess that I am a Christian but don’t show daily that Christ lives in me! No longer can I claim that I am HIS child when my thoughts, actions and deeds were not overflowing with HIS love. No longer could I live the way I was living and not seek him daily in prayer, scripture and worship. As the Lord blessed me with that knowledge I felt him also calling me to write my journey and share my thoughts, learning and mistakes with others. Hence the reason for 911. Not only was it a crises in my life to become a Godly Woman but as I delved into scripture to understand how to be Godly, I realized that we are living in crazy world where the desire to be Godly was no longer important. Many boast that they are a Christian and weekly attend Church, but lack the Godly qualities that Christ seeks in ALL of his followers. My deepest desire is to serve Christ faithfully, obey HIM joyfully, trust HIM always, seek HIM eternally and become his close friend so that I can share in his truth and knowledge. I pray that this blog blesses you and provide you with the strength, courage and wisdom to be a Godly Man or Woman.
